About Concept Counselling
Welcome to Concept Counselling
I qualified as a Counsellor 6 years ago and after my eldest child was diagnosed with ADHD I decided that I needed to find out everything I could about Neurodiversity. Since then over the years I have had the pleasure of working alongside some great organisations in the mental health sector.
As a mum of 2 Neurodiverse children I have both personal and vast professional experience of working with Neuro Diverse conditions such as ADHD and Autism.
My professional experience as a Counsellor, trainer, educator, coach, CBT therapist and mentor has meant that I have been able to use my skills working with children in schools, college students, parents and carers, social workers, nurses and teachers giving me a broad knowledge of other peoples perspectives and experiences of mental health and neuro diversity.
Counselling can help to improve communication and coping skills; strengthen self-esteem and promote behavior change for optimal mental health. This service accepts Adults and young people over the age of 16. Full DBS provided, insured and member of BACP governing counselling body.
We are usually able to offer you your first session within a couple of weeks of your initial enquiry, avoiding long waiting lists.
Please take a look at our sessions and services page for more information on costs and what we offer.
